Custom Design

So you're thinking about possibly ordering a custom made garment, huh? Placing a request for a custom garment starts with your initial Contact.  Start with thinking about what type of garment you want, how you want your custom garment to feel, as well as any questions you may have about the process starts with contacting us. Send me inspirational photos, garments you want recreated, or we can collaborate to make something truly original.

Please Contact us no later than 2-3 Months prior to the date you need the garment completed, for bridal contact us no later than 5-6 months. This will ensure that we have time to order fabric if necessary and make adjustments. Should you need something rushed or last minute, we can definitely accommodate you, but this will incur additional fees.

These fees are a generalize quote meaning the price could be more or less depending on the complexity of the design, labor, and hours of work involved. Cost of materials are not included in the price of production, it is a separate fee.

 

 

Process

First, Initial Contact is made and then we set a consultation. Consultations are $50 and is deducted from the total cost of the garment fee. Consultations are only made once you have decided upon design, fabric selection, and you are ready to make a payment of 50% of the total cost.

To reserve your slot and secure your date, you must put at least 50% of the payment down at the initial consultation.  

Consultations
You will have one-on-one in person 1 hour consultation with me to finalize any details and to make your half payment.  Consultations are $100 to book, which goes toward the total cost of your garment and Payment is non-refundable and will be taken via cash payment, paypal, or Credit Cards (please add 3% transaction fee for paypal and Credit Cards). Please allow 48 hours notice if you may need to reschedule.
At the consultation, I will take notes of the design that you want and sketch out the garment that you are envisioning. We can move forward once the design has been approved.
During the consultation hour, we will discuss your design, go over labor cost, and assist with selecting the fabric.The labor cost does not include the cost of fabric.
If you're under the age of 18, consultations MUST be booked by a parent/guardian .

Construction Process
At the consultation a non refundable 50% deposit fee of the total amount is required to begin the design(s) . If there is no payment the day of the consultation, your order will be canceled. 
*Construction of your garment will only start on the order when the non-refundable deposit has been made

Cut and Sew 
Once order is placed and is in the construction process, you MAY NOT change the design or an additional $150+ will be added to the total cost. Most likely at this point we have already ordered fabric for the design you have chosen, and I have already started working on your sample, so for any changes to the design, there will be an extra fee.

Private, Personal Fittings
We do not do group fittings, no exceptions. Fittings are one hour or less. During this time, I will make adjustments to the garment(s). You may ask for minor changes if needed. You must pay 50% of their remaining balance at the 1st fitting. Your are entitled to three fittings located at my place of business.
(All fittings will take place at my home studio)
Client is limited to two guest at each fitting 
(All children attending must be supervised)

Booking Appointments 
All appointments must be scheduled at least four months in advance prior to the event. If needing more than three pieces for your event, please schedule your consultation at least five months in advance. 
(Rush orders needed in less than two months will be an extra $200+ added to the total cost)

Allow up to 48 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid any cancellation fees.
There is a $50 cancellation fee that will be added to your total cost if you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment. This also may result in needing to reschedule since the appointment may not be able to be extended at that time.
